However, David was in for a surprise when Scrappy, his beloved black cat, started developing white patches on his dark coat at the age of seven. This unique occurrence is likely due to vitiligo, a rare skin condition that causes marbling in feline fur. Despite the diagnosis, Scrappy is a happy and healthy nineteen-year-old cat who still engages in fights with other cats in the neighborhood. David captures his furry friend’s daily life and unusual appearance, although Scrappy is not always cooperative when it comes to taking pictures.
